I know some of you are origami experts and if you aren’t one it’s okay! Let’s not make it a big deal. Now you can learn to make easy paper airplanes from LND using simple step by step illustrated instructions. Also, if you are an adult you can teach your kids how to make a paper airplane using DIY method. Paper airplanes adds fun to your daily life in spite of being in an busy day. You don’t need to invest a lot of money to learn paper planes – you will need a piece of paper to make it possible. Supplies Required:

  • A4 Sheet of Paper or a Foolscap Paper with 70-90 GSM
  • Ruler or Flat thick object to flatten the folded edges to make a strong crease.

Step 1:

  • Keep your A4 sheet of paper over a flat surface or over a reading table
  • Bring the top-right corner of your paper airplane to the left boundary as shown in Fig.1,
  • The right-lower side edge of the fold should be like a sharp edge.
  • UNFOLD it once done.

Step 2:

  • Now, bring the top-left corner of your paper airplane to the right boundary as shown in Fig.2,
  • It’s very simple you need to just copy the previous step.
  • The left-lower side edge of the fold should be like a sharp edge.
  • UNFOLD it once done.

Step 3:

  • Now, fold the right side edge to the existing crease we made in the previous step
  • Just see where the dotted lines travel
  • Check the fig.3 for your reference

Step 4:

  • Now bring the left side to the existing crease on the left.
  • Check how the dotted lines are travelling – Keep the dotted lines as the center of the fold
  • Refer fig.4 for all your doubts.

Step 5:

  • Further fold the right side flaps inside into half over it
  • Refer fig.5 for your doubts

Step 6:

  • Now, do as per the previous fold on the left side flaps inside into half over it
  • Refer fig.6 for your doubts

Step 7:

  • Fold the upper nose down of about 1 inch.

Step 8:

  • Valley fold the easy paper airplanes into half
  • Check for their symmetry (Whether both sections are same or not). Symmetrical planes makes a best paper airplane.

Step 9:

  • Its the time for making the wing – The Length of the wing should match the length of the fuselage
  • Fold the Diagonal top section to the straight bottom section – Straight to straight and Fold it
  • Do the same for the other side too
  • Refer the fig.9 and fig.10

Step 10:

  • Lift the wings up to make it look like ‘T’ from the front view
  • You have successfully made the Easy Paper Airplanes. It performs well and good!
  • Also, gives a smooth flight performance on Gentle launches.
  • Try with dihedral wing for different flight performance

Easy paper airplanes flying technique:

  • Hold the Plane behind the centre of the plane’s gravity centre
  • Keep your left foot slightly forward and launch it in 30 – 40 degrees angle, throw it steadily with a medium force. If it fails, tweak the tail wing slightly up and try again.
  • Try different angles and forces now! Wow, That’s how one learns properly with more trying and flying. Kudos!
