For beginners to make paper airplane using paper plane instructions from liftndrift, begin with Inkjet printer white paper sheets which perform decently. Because the best paper airplane is made out of various factors like fold, paper, accuracy and so on. Instead of going for colorful Origami paper in the first shot give it a try for Copier Paper, Laser printer paper or Inkjet paper which is easily available on the market. With that paper in mind and hand, let’s make fizzy with simple easy go steps.

Supplies Required:

  • A4 Sheet of Paper or a Foolscap Paper with 70-90 GSM
  • Ruler or Flat thick object to flatten the folded edges to make a strong crease.

Step 1:

  • Take the A4 sheet of paper and keep it in portrait orientation
  • Now, fold it into half from the top to bottom equally and match it to the bottom line
  • UNFOLD, them afterwards.

Step 2:

  • Now, fold left-top corner and left-bottom corner to the centre line
  • Make it even and symmetrical.

Step 3:

  • Now you will get the triangle as shown in the Fig.3

Step 4:

  • Fold the Nose down to the centre line from the blue dot to dot
  • Unfold it after that

Step 5:

  • On the crease that you made in Step 4, fold down the nose to the same point as shown in Fig.5

Step 6:

  • Again Roll down to the lower next lower line of the triangle
  • Refer Fig.6 for your futher doubts.

Step 7:

  • Mountain fold the fizzy paper plane into half and check for the symmetry as shown in Fig.7

Step 8:

  • Check on the Fig.8 as shown, You have to fold down the top section along the dotted lines (1 inch to be exact) to bottom
  • Do the same on the other side for making the wing

Step 9:

  • Lift up the wing on both sides like ‘T’ Perpendicular to the fuselage

Step 10:

  • Look at the end of both wings of your plane (Fig.10)
  • Fold that both ends to the top about 1.5 cm each vertically

Step 11:

  • That’s all about it, You are good to fly fizzy for the day!

Fizzy flying technique:

  • Hold the Plane behind the centre of the plane’s gravity centre.
  • Keep your left foot slightly forward and launch it in 30 – 40 degrees angle, throw it steadily with a medium force. If it fails, tweak the tail wing slightly up and try again.
  • Try different angles and forces now! Wow, That’s how one learns properly with more trying and flying. Kudos!
